We work from the drawings and levels you have been given, confirm them on site, and have the underground services located rather than relying on a plan that may be years out of date. Access is planned next — machine size, where spoil is stockpiled, where trucks can turn — because that sets the cost more often than the volume does. Then it is excavation to the marked levels and carting the spoil away, with the base trimmed to grade and levels rechecked before we hand over.
